"Los Angeles is surrounded by valleys, but there's only one Valley..."

Van Nuys Boulevard tour

From my email, it seems that many people who visit America's Suburb.com grew up in the Valley but live elsewhere now. In a lot of cases, they haven't been back to the Valley for a long time. So for them, here's a website that presents a photographic tour of Van Nuys Boulevard from Chandler up to Nordhoff. I don't know the story behind the site, but the owner calls out the locations of gone-but-not-forgotten landmarks (Bob's, General Motors, Carnation, Americana Theaters, et al) and other places that have morphed into something else (Broadway/Wal-Mart, Panorama Bowl/skating rink, et al).
