Hi! I lived in a Mellenthin home on Sutton Street (14700 block) during most of my childhood. It never fails - when I see a Mellenthin I am brought back to the wood paneling, bulky banister leading to the bedroom I shared with my sister, attached garage (I played handball on the outside and ruined the paint), and the shake roof that someone mentioned would burn the house down in a second (my parents never took it off). Our Mellenthin home, by virtue of its design, is an integral part of my childhood memories. The family that bought the home from us still live there, and it looks EXACTLY the same as it did when we moved in 1984. The only thing we changed was the exterior - we built a paddle tennis court in the backyard. The lot is HUGE - many on Sutton Street are flag lots.
