Lakeside Country Club, the famed Toluca Lake hangout of Bob Hope and Bing Crosby in their day, only allows men to become members, according to a lawsuit filed by disgruntled member Reginald Lee and his wife, Jennifer Merkel. Lee has apparently been in a festering dispute with the club, which has a meeting scheduled to take up stripping him of membership. The lawsuit alleges that female golfers are relegated to less desirable tee times and that an annual tournament for men featured naked women serving refreshments.
